To address the issue of allergens in probiotic products, New Bellus has invested significant resources over a long period in research and development. Our goal is to create allergen-free probiotics. Our R&D team has overcome technical challenges to develop probiotic ingredients without using allergen-containing culture media or protective agents. Our probiotic ingredients are produced without lactose, milk, gluten, or soy-derived components, ensuring the safety and purity of our products.


Medicinal Mushroom

Mushroom products commonly come in two types: fruiting body and mycelium. Fruiting body products are produced through solid-state fermentation, using substrates like wood logs, sawdust, or grain-based cultivation bags or bottles. Mycelium products are produced through either liquid or solid fermentation. In solid fermentation, agar is added to the liquid culture medium to solidify it before cultivation. Whether in solid or liquid fermentation, the culture medium for mycelium may contain grains or other allergen-containing substances. During the production of both fruiting body and mycelium mushrooms, allergenic substances in these substrates may remain in the final product, posing potential health concerns to individuals with allergies.


To address the allergen concerns  in mushroom products, New Bellus has invested significant resources in developing technology that eliminates the need for allergen-containing substrates in production. In addition to using submerged fermentation technology, New Bellus has successfully created Medicinal Mushroom ingredients free from allergens. Throughout the production process, our Medicinal Mushroom are made without using ingredients derived from lactose, milk, gluten, or soy, ensuring both safety and purity in our products.
